General condition:

This Velasco 43 Fly has been perfectly maintained by its owners since its commissioning in 2013. We observe no abnormal defects anywhere on the boat. All electrical and electronic equipment are in working order. The engines are serviced annually. Everything is operational.

Exterior:

The gelcoat on the hull and superstructures has been well maintained and shows no major defects. The condition is perfectly consistent with the years of use. The original upholstery is well maintained and still has many seasons ahead before considering replacement. The closing covers (NV equipment) are in very good condition. The boat is also equipped with perforated fabric on three sides for the summer. At the flybridge, the boat is again in excellent condition with no signs of crazing observed, the upholstery is all in very good condition, as are the console and pilot seat covers.

Interior:

The boat is as it left the factory, with no modifications made. The floors and woodwork are free of defects, upholstery in good condition. All comfort equipment is operational. The completely flat deck plan up to the descent to the sleeping area is very pleasant. Movement aboard is unhindered. A few minor oxidation spots are noted on some switch frames, door handles, and hinges. At the helm station, all equipment has been tested and is operational.

Mechanical:

The engines start on the first try. Nothing abnormal to report on this point. Both engines are serviced annually and show visually very good condition with no signs of leaks or corrosion. Bilges are clean and dry. The boat is ready to sail.

Electronics and electrical systems:

All comfort equipment (reversible air conditioning, generator, lighting, courtesy lights) have been tested and are operational. Regarding electronics, all devices (compass, log, depth sounder, plotter, GPS, VHF, autopilot, windlass counter) have been tested. Everything is up to date and functional. The boat is well equipped in this respect.
